Well, it has only been a month, so not a lot to report. I have lost another 5 lbs last month, so it brings my total lost to 80 lbs. I lost all my weight by not working out, but I do think it is time to get stronger, so I have started working out some. At the beginning of starting to workout, you may experience a stall or even a weight gain. This is what is happening with me as well. Don’t freak out about this, it is only your body readjusting yet again to what you are doing. It will all level out after a little while.

I only eat twice a day and I fast from 7:00 pm to 9:00-10:00 am every day. I also do a day-long fast usually once a week where I do not eat until dinner time. This fits into my lifestyle perfectly, although fasting is not a requirement for keto it works for me. I am not a hungry all the time and I only eat when I am.

Also, if you are having adverse side effects from the diet like I did, they will eventually go away. Some of my hair fell out for 6 months and I had pain in my feet for about 8 months.  It will eventually level out. My hair has stopped falling out and the pain in my feet has gone. I am not a medical professional and this is just an account of my own experiences and not medical advice.

I am much healthier and I am looking at the long term, so if the weight doesn’t just fall off I am okay with that. As long as I am moving forward that is all that matters. I will eventually reach my goal and I thought I would never be able to say that because of my medical problems it made losing weight impossible, but with this way of eating it is now possible.

It has been a little over a year since I started Keto. It has become a part of my lifestyle and I do not think twice about it now. Although there are variances in what I eat day-to-day, it is pretty much the same kinds of foods… healthy foods! There is no garbage junk food being consumed anymore.

I used to eat Pop-Tarts, raspberry danish, chips, pretzels, pasta’s, and doughnuts on a regular basis (almost daily). However, there has been absolutely no cravings for these foods at all. Plus, I fast from about 9:00 pm to 10:30 am and only eat two meals every day. I rarely ever get hungry and if I do I will have a handful of sunflower kernels as a snack.

That is my food schedule and it fits perfectly with the rest of my life. I have maintained my weight loss and have added working out to my regimen.
