Blend for 6-8 minutes or until the butter separates. You will see liquid splashing on the top of the food processor lid.
Strain off the liquid, add salt (optional), and pulse to mix into the butter.
Add the butter into the center of a clean kitchen towel. Fold the towel around the butter so it is well enclosed in the towel.
Run the towel (with the butter enclosed inside) under cold water. Squeeze the water out and repeat this until the water runs clear. Squeeze any remaining water out of the butter.
Remove the butter from the towel and wrap in cling wrap or parchment paper.
Refrigerate and enjoy.
